    Who Is Your Teacher?
    C. Boyd Allen — Professional Surveyor and Mapper
    Mr. Allen has been a practicing Land Surveyor for 37 years, and has been licensed for the past 25 years. He is currently Vice President of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society and formerly served as Secretary. He owned his own surveying business for 13 years, representing the interests of large national and international engineering companies and developers, custom homebuilders and sole proprietors of small construction companies. His areas of expertise include Commercial, Construction, Residential and Sub-surface Utility Mapping. Mr. Allen has concentrated his continuing education in boundary law and has been called upon to offer expert testimony in boundary disputes, and has presented seminars on Minimum Technical Standards and their importance in protecting the public. He is committed to the future of surveying and is currently an instructor at Learey Technical Center for the Certified Surveying Technician program.

    HOW TO READ A SURVEY SEMINAR
    This is a one-hour presentation explaining how to look at any type of survey and find the boundary, improvements, setback lines, easements and encroachments. This seminar includes a brief discussion of survey standards in Florida and nationally. This is suitable for beginning to intermediate level real estate and title professionals.
